WHY SALALAH LOGISTICS?

Our local knowledge is a key ingredient of any Business Plan and we are able to provide input on the financing, development and operating parameters which will find their way into the financial model and upon which the ultimate viability and profitability of the joint venture will rest.

The company envisages that there will be opportunities in key domains of Airport Logistics Services, Port and Shipping Logistics Services, Future Railway Logistics Services and Salalah Free Zone among other things for providing competitive, efficient, innovative logistic services.
Salalah, the capital city of Dhofar in the southern province of Oman is the second largest city of Oman. Dhofar has a population of approximately 250 thousand people.

The Salalah Airport can currently accommodate as many as two million passengers annually, and has already catered to 1, 002,653 million passengers from the time it opened for operations in June 2015 till the end of April 2016. However, given the expected rise in tourism, plans are already in place to increase the capacity of the airport to 4-6 million passengers in the future.

During H1 2014, Port of Salalah has handled 1.628 million TEUs and 5.466 million tons of general cargo. (Numbers can revise from the accurate resources). We can add Salalah Airport Cargo as well.
